Our Clients ~ We Luv ‘Em!

Grey Visual Client Reviews:

Randall Smith of Mesa Engineering“Bill Grey has been a vital part of Mesa/Boogie for some thirty years or so. And during that time he has been instrumental in producing the actualized images that we have collectively visualized.

To understand what I mean by that, let me illustrate: Whether it’s a logo or a page layout for an ad or catalog, we can discuss verbally with Bill the elements we need to show and the “vibe” or emotions we wish to convey. Watching him sketch with a pencil is to truly see a talent at work that no amount of practice alone could achieve.

You’re either born with that talent or you’re not. It can’t be taught. But if you’ve got the talent, there’s still no substitute for experience and Bill’s got lots of that too! Even if all he ever did was the work he’s put out for Mesa/Boogie, the volume over these decades is HUGE.

I shouldn’t be writing this recommendation because Bill is often overloaded just by us and [he] has to prioritize different projects to keep the most vital ones on schedule. So why am I doing this? Because he asked.

When one is fortunate enough to have a valued business relationship grow into a genuine friendship and last this long, virtually hassle-free, that’s worth telling others about… even if we come to regret it.

You WILL keep us front and center, right Bill? Bill?… Hey, Bill…”

Sincerely,
Randall Smith

New WEBSITES & ReDesign

Camilla Gray-Nelson of Dairydell Canine“I sought out Grey Visual to help our company develop a new corporate identity, with redesign of our logo and website as our first priority. The care with which Bill and Cynthia approached our project is evident in the finished products: our logo and website are outstanding, and both reflect precisely the mood and feel of our business; our website is drawing in new clients daily and our presence on the search engines has been improved exponentially. We come up everywhere!

One last note on Grey Visual – they were just plain FUN to work with. A real pleasure. I have recommended them to many of my business colleagues, and will continue to do so in the future.”

John Montgomery, Architect and Builder“I looked at dozens of web designers and was getting frustrated with the lack of style and creativity, as well as the lack of response. Not only did Bill Grey respond immediately, he was a pleasure to work with and his technical and creative edge was exactly what I was looking for. His fee was very reasonable, and he was always available to answer my dumb questions. I highly recommend him.”

Lesley Zoromski, Pet PortraitistI recently went through the process of having a new website, www.dogsindetail.com, built by Grey Visual Design. Bill and Cynthe  made it a very easy process and overall comfortable experience. I am not a technical person and I was unsure at the start how difficult the process was going to be for me.

Bill and Cynthe led me through the process one step at a time, so I was never overwhelmed. Whenever I had questions about WHY something was done a certain way, I was always impressed by how much thought went into their decisions. There are so many technical details behind the scene that the average person just doesn’t realize. However, they were always ready to listen to my ideas and adapt to my wishes.

Shirley Dempel, 4H Foundation of Sonoma CountyThe 4-H Foundation of Sonoma County needed a website that was inviting and friendly to use, attractive, told the story of who we are and what we do, and a site we could manage.  Bill Grey at Grey Visual Design was able to deliver the product we needed.

What we appreciated was Bill’s initial approach at gaining an insight into who we are.  He sat down and had an in depth conversation with us, getting a clear understanding of the 4-H program and how we support it.  From that exchange, he was able to develop a website that allows the viewer to capture the value of the 4-H youth program and how they can personally help to support the program. The graphics are attractive and invite the viewer to investigate the site more fully.  It also gave us a website that our office staff can manage easily.

It was a pleasure to work with Bill.  He accepted suggestions from our staff and committee, and willingly integrated those suggestions into the final design. We are very satisfied with the final product and happy with the working relationship we have developed with Bill.

Grey Visual Client Reviews:
Wordpress CMS Tutorials

Tien Lawrence, Mesa EngineeringBill and Cynthe (Grey Visual) possess and deliver a hard-to-find combination of skills within web design and online marketing. Decades of experience create a solid foundation for consistently adapting to the latest and greatest trends in the online design space.

Equally valuable is their ability to quickly gauge not only their client’s needs, but also the client’s understanding of the mechanics of their online presence. This refined intuition allows them to tailor your design beyond your needs and into your vision.

The combination of tasteful design abilities being thoughtfully delivered to any client’s level of understanding with emphasis on helping their clients learn along the journey is a rare commodity in today’s world of web and marketing design. Web design and marketing can lose it’s soul in the technical process, but Bill and Cynthe maintain the high end of the human element in BOTH relating to their clients AND the finished product.

“My initial tutorial session with Bill and Cynthe was enough to jump-start me with the basic skills I needed to navigate WordPress. They also had good advice/suggestions to offer me and were always available to answer/solve the problems that invariably come up when working with computers! They’ve been a huge support for me ‘going techno’.”

The final piece of the [website design] process was the tutorial, to learn hands-on how to manipulate my site. Now I feel so comfortable going to the [Wordpress CMS] “dashboard” and making my own changes.

Throughout the process they offered their expert options on choices that I could make to ensure that I had a website that would take me into the future, such as using a blogging format.  I am so happy I listened to them and took their advice.  I now have a beautiful interactive site which I am proud to share with the internet world.
